Meet the Team!
Born May 25 1962
In 1984 Ray decided to go into the lumber business and went to work for Seigles lumber, Geneva wholesale back then. After two short years with the company Ray was promoted to Superintendent and was ordering millions of dollars in inventory and supplies. It was one day that he went out on a delivery to a jobsite to introduce himself to the carpenters on site that he realized what his true passion was; Construction.
Ray continued his career with Seigle’s until 1994 when he decided it was time to follow his true passion. He gave Seigle’s a 4 week notice that we was leaving the company and starting his own business.
The same year Ray built his first house and before it was even done it was under contract. The following year he built 2 other houses and sold those as well, from that point on the company name was out and the quality of workmanship has been seen ever since.
That same year we hired our first two employees of which one is still with us today, Ed. Since then R.C. Soto Enterprises has built over 200 custom homes, many additions, garages and many types of remodeling. In 2002 R.C. Soto expanded its resume and became a land developer including land development, storm sewers, detention ponds, sewer and water mains, and curbs and gutters along with our many options. To date R.C. Soto Enterprises has developed 3 large land projects including a large commercial development.
We are truly;
